The pandemic has radically changed the job landscape. Millions of people around the world have been forced to change careers in order to survive, while many have said goodbye to their offices for good.
However, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are certain job positions whose demand is expected to skyrocket in the coming years.
The most in-demand professions are related to renewable energy sources, electronic data, and healthcare. Specifically, interest in wind and solar energy has surged as installation costs decrease and more countries prioritize reducing carbon emissions, said the head of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Michael Wolf, to CNBC.
Other professions, such as information security analysts and data scientists, will become more popular as people continue to work from home with the help of the internet. “While employees work remotely, companies have the opportunity to invest in software and systems that will allow them to be productive in this environment,” adds Wolf.
