What is NLP?
NLP… a journey of kilometers!
…and just like that, NLP entered my life, the approach and philosophy of Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
It was a six-month journey, filled with knowledge, experiences, new acquaintances, among them the most significant acquaintance—this with my very own self.
When you start with the intention of obtaining a certification, to train in a new approach aimed at improving the services you provide and your practice, first and foremost, you work on and improve yourself. You get challenged, you ponder, you process, you wonder, you experiment, and in the end, you thirst for deeper, more substantial knowledge.
This is exactly what happened to me during my training to obtain the NLP Coach certification at Nlpgreece® in collaboration with NLP University Santa Cruz California. There at Nlpgreece® is a wonderful team made up of exceptional professionals in their field, with the unique Alexandra Efthymiadou at the helm. I am grateful to have collaborated with them and learned from them.
What is NLP?
Simply put, it is the shaping of the way of thinking, the perception of events and situations. What we all often say, “let’s look at things from another perspective.” This is exactly what the NLP system does with its rich toolbox. It allows us to identify what lies behind a behavior, the way someone thinks and processes information.
It reprograms the way of thinking and the attitude of a person towards whatever challenges and limits them… at work, in relationships, in family, in how they see themselves and their prospects.
How can it help?
In a matter that has been tormenting the mind for a while, for a change that someone wants to make but dares not, for something they want to achieve, for thoughts that limit their decisions and behavior. When this phrase lingers in his mind:
“I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I’m taking two steps forward and five steps back!”
How?
Through individual one-to-one meetings where the issue to be managed is identified, and then through diagnostic approaches, the techniques that will lead to the desired outcome are applied.
Choose to invest in yourself, to identify and support your own beliefs, to be effective and functional in every aspect of your life.
